As requested, here are two 100% natural body exfoliating recipes from my Super Sexy Skin Program.

Regular exfoliation will help stimulate cell renewal to keep the skin smooth, soft, healthy and toned.  It will work in synergy with good nutrition and regular exercise to help improve the health of the skin.

Benefits of Regular Exfoliation

* Stimulate cell renewal to keep the skin smooth and healthy

* Improve blood circulation to increase the availability of skin nutrients

* Detoxify the skin through promoting good lymph flow

* Minimize blackheads & blemishes by removing pore clogging dead skin cells

* Enhance the effect of your skincare products as it allows for better penetration of your moisturizer (and massage product).

Note: It’s important to remember that you should not use body scrubs on your face. They will be too harsh & can scratch and damage your skin.

Reminder Safety Tips For Using Scrubs

1. Not all skin handles exfoliation well, here are some conditions that if you have them you should avoid physical
exfoliation as it may aggravate the existing condition or cause further irritation: pustules, acne, rashes, rosacea, sunburnt
skin, sensitive/reactive skin or any skin that is inflamed or damaged in any way.

2. Always patch test a product first. Apply to the inner side of your wrist for 20 minutes. Rinse well. Leave for 24 hours and if no reaction (redness or irritation) has occurred then it should be OK. If the recipe is for your face, after passing the patch test on your wrist — try on a section of your face before using it all over (our face is more sensitive than our body so it’s better to err on the side of caution).

3. If after applying a product you feel discomfort, tingling, stinging, itching, flushing or any other kind of irritation, or your skin looks red — rinse off immediately, cleanse thoroughly and splash with cold water for 5-10 minutes (or use a cold compress) until the irritation has subsided. Always err on the side of caution when trying a new product.

5. When making your own products at home, if you have a food allergy (e.g. strawberries) then please do not use the
ingredient you are allergic to in your home made skincare, you can react to the allergen even through your skin.
