Before & After Photos: Keeping It Real!

Recently I received a note from a self confessed “before and after” photo junkie.  She told me “Bel, I spend hours on the internet looking at before and after transformation photos”! 

The problem is, this beautiful girl has never moved beyond just looking and still feels unable to make the changes she needs to make to be happy with her body.

This got me to thinking about the real life stories that are unfolding before me every day coaching women just like you.  

It’s not easy to choose from amongst all the inspirational girls I’ve coached over the years…but today I want to share four very real stories.

When I say “real”, I mean – these are every day women who put their minds and hearts into doing what it takes to see real change.  No photoshopping or photo editing apps.  No hyped up exaggerated results.  Just true, real life experiences and photos freely shared with the hopes they inspire others as to what’s possible..

Note: Most women lose weight on Get Lean but results vary according to the individual. These photos are not typical for every person and depend on how consistent you are with your eating and workouts.

Suzanne T: After 3 Weeks 



“I am so thrilled with the way I am feeling!! Get Lean program is something I have looked for quite sometime!!!! I have never been a big eater and have always done some kind of exercise. But, I never could get the results I wanted!! I needed someone to tell me exactly what to eat and what exercises to do!! Get Lean has done that!! When I came across this program, I knew I had to try it.

I was very determined to start the program. It took me a couple weeks to get into the routine of preparing my meals. You have to understand I was OCD about following the program to a t!!!! I asked several questions on each topic in the forum!!! I always got detailed answers!!

I didn’t take pictures until day 9. Oh boy, was that an eye opener!!! That probably gave me the determination to stick with it!! There were days that I was really hungry, and felt bad!! I wrote Belinda and she increased my carbs by 1/2 serve morning and lunch. That did the trick to get me to the next level. I am currently in my second month week 1. It has become much easier and I really don’t want to eat off the plan!! The couple times I did have a treat meal, I wished I hadn’t!! My body has welcomed the new change in eating!! It’s hard in the beginning not knowing if it will really work!!! I am totally convinced it does!! Can’t wait to see what changes are next!! Thank you Belinda!!

Hi Belinda, I love the idea of your program – especially body weight exercises at home, however I’m not wanting to loose weight. Could your program help me increase upper body size, in order to balance upper and lower body proportions? (I’d love to be more than a size 6). I get concerned though that I might become totally flat chested as I have done in the past when I went to the gym. Thanks!

Hi Belinda,

I am trying to find the best work out option other than going to the gym. I had a hip replacement a few years ago and have battled to find the “right” exercises as most include jumping and a lot of joint jarring. Will this plan be joint friendly?

Because many women develop issues with their joints (especially their knees and hips) I’ve developed several joint-friendly routines for toning the lower body. how long are the videos and how many days a week should i be working out/ i want to know all the info prior to ordering. also, i dont follow diets . i tried to eat as clean as i can and avoid carbs. therefore, i know i will not be following your diet, so will the work outs still benefit me?

Hi Kristine, lovely to meet you and thanks for posting. Most of my workouts are around 45 minutes. I normally recommend working out three times a week to lose weight and see body toning changes. If you eat clean (no need to avoid healthy, high fiber carbs though) YES the workouts will still benefit you, absolutely. I have plenty of girls on my program who choose to do their own eating plan – and I offer tips and advice to help tailor that where desired.

If you let me know your current weight, height, trouble zones and goals and I can advise more specifically.

Exactly – I’ve been amazed at the huge gamut of people’s stories and the details of what’s really important to them, deep down. Being aware of and connecting with our deep motivators is what makes all the difference to finding the inspiration and energy to achieve our goals.
